A bit about me

This is a very shortened version of ‘My Story’ but there is plenty more about me on my social media and blogs.

nathan bull osteopathy

I’m Nathan and I have been a lover of the water for 35 years, been playing hockey for 7 years, really love dancing salsa, bachata, kizomba and have been a qualified Osteopath for 8 years.

I don’t have a typical inspiring story of how I was injured, was treated by an Osteopath, miraculously recovered and then dedicating the rest of my life to doing more of the same for others...

I started my Osteopathic journey as a humble science nerd: doing a Biomedical Science degree at Southampton University. But I realised that going into research wasn't for me.

Osteopathy became a way I could apply my love of science and the human body into helping people. Because even though I am a bit of an introverted nerd, I enjoy and feel most myself when I put my Osteopathic hat on and help people through some pretty bad times, musculoskeletally speaking.

Those are my inspiring stories. The stories of the people I get to work with. I talk more about my patient’s experiences with me in my blog: Motion Forword.

My logo has three main features:

  1. The broken circles represent the human fingerprint,

  2. The hexagon represents a benzene ring,

  3. The colour blue.

These three things represent how I approach my practice:

  1. Tailored care to the individual,

  2. My scientific background and understanding to recovery and treatment,

  3. My calm, welcoming and friendly manner.

Also blue is my favourite colour!

I help those suffering from a range of musculoskeletal aches and pains including but not limited to:

  • Lower back pain

  • Sciatica

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Headaches originating from the neck

  • Hip and knee pain

  • Sports injuries
